Banita Sandhu

Banita Sandhu is a British actress. She was born and raised in Caerleon, South Wales and is of Punjabi descent. Banita began acting as a child in local stage and film productions when she signed her first agent at just 11 years old. She began her professional acting career whilst attending King’s College London, in Shoojit Sircar’s Hindi feature film October (2018) alongside Varun Dhawan. She received major critical acclaim for her “outstanding debut” with Vogue India naming her the 2018 Face to Watch Out For. Following the film’s release, she returned to university to complete her degree. Upon graduating with honors, she went back to work with Craig Robert’s feature film Eternal Beauty (2019), followed by a Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy titled Adithya Varma (2019) and The CW’s summer show, Pandora (2019). Her next film releases include Sardar Udham Singh (2020), co-starring Vicky Kaushal.

Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz

An actress and producer of Swiss origin with over thirty years of acting experience, Jacqueline has appeared in theatre productions, television soaps, commercials and short films. She has worked with Klaus Maria Brandauer, M.K. Lewis, John Costopoulos, Elisabeth Kemp, Susan Batson and Bettina Lohmeyer. She is multilingual and has extensively trained in method acting, dance and vocals.

Jacqueline’s confrontation with poverty during her first visit to India was shocking. It prompted her to initiate the Mother Teresa & Me charity film, and she has been significantly involved in the movie’s development and fundraising.

Deepti Naval

Deepti Naval is an American Indian actress, who made her debut in the year 1980 with Ek Baar Phir, for which she won her first Best Actor award, and has since appeared in more than 90 films, the most recent one being the acclaimed Oscar nominated Lion. Deepti’s major contribution has been in the area of art cinema, winning critical acclaim for her sensitive and close to life characters that emphazised the changing role of women in India.

Bryan Lawrence

Bryan has been a successful actor and presenter for over fifteen years with numerous TV, Film, Commercial and Corporate credits.

Outside of work he is an accomplished rower and competes nationally and internationally.

Heer Kaur

Heer kaur is an Indian actress. Coming from a Punjabi background she was raised partially in Ranchi and Chandigarh. After being crowned as Veet Diva Heer entered into acting field and has by far done more than 50 tv commercials and has been a part of multiple sketches, south film, music videos, web series and short films. Kevin Mains

Kevin Mains trained at Langside, Glasgow, and has a wealth of experience. His theatre credits include A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM at the Royal Lyceum, and HAND TO GOD at the Vaudeville.

Jina Baishya

Jina Baishya is a trained actress and dancer from the state of Assam based in Mumbai. She has performed across various states in India and abroad. During her childhood, she has worked with some of the well-established theatre groups of Assam.

She did her graduation from Damdama College, at the University of Guwahati in 2012. She joined the National School of Drama in New Delhi in 2014 and successfully completed her Diploma in Dramatic Arts with acting Specialization in 2017.

She works on a long-term fellowship project titled, “Studying of two training approaches: Kudiyattyam and Adishakti aspects of training process” wherein working with Gum Gopal Venu in Natanakairali, Kerela, and various other theatre scholars and practitioners.

Shobu Kapoor

She was born and grew up in India. She moved to the UK in 1988 and started her professional career. After training at Drama Studio London, she performed in many theatre productions over the course of a few years. Her first TV appearance was ‘Family Pride’ for Channel 4, where her initial guest role turned into a series regular due to the popularity, energy, and skill she had shown with her performance.

Shobu’s next TV job was ‘Eastenders’, where she played the highly popular series regular character ‘Gita Kapoor’. The character of Gita established Shobu as a household name in the UK and abroad. After leaving Eastenders, her next big show was ‘Citizen Khan’, where she played the leading role of ‘Mrs Khan’. After many years working on multiple high-profile TV and film projects, her latest outing is the role of ‘Seema’ in the highly anticipated Channel 4 show ‘We Are Lady Parts’.

In a career spanning over three decades, Shobu has played a range of characters across theatre, television, film, and radio. She has a memorable voice and has done a variety of voiceover work.
