Arianna Dal Cero

She is a graduate of CSH and LCF where she developed a love for Art and Costume. Her studies provided her with the knowledge and tools to see every project with originality and creativity. Arianna’s curious predisposition has drawn her to new projects and ideas that investigate and incorporate the spectrum of costume style in TV and Film.

 

 
 
 

Rekha Musale

Production Designer

Rekha Musale has been working on more than 40 feature films, mostly produced or co-produced with Switzerland. She started working in the property dpt, and has since become one of the most sought after Art Director in Switzerland. Apart from her collaborations with her brother Kamal (Aline, selected by the Locarno International Film Festival, Curry Raclette, Looking for Rosamunde), she has been working with a great array of films and directors, Swiss and foreign. Amongst them:  Frédéric Schoendoerffer, Jacob Berger, Ursula Meier, Nicolas Wadimoff, Alain Tanner, Claude Chabrol, Michel Piccoli, Olivier Assayas.

Keiko Nakahara

Director of Photography

Keiko Nakahara is a Japanese-born Cinematographer now working in India. In an interview, she told the reporter that the Japanese film industry was male-dominated that’s why she came to America to start her career. After studying films in the San Diego Film School in California, a friend recommended her to an Indian producer, and this is how she earned her first project. Nakahara moved base to India where she has worked as a DOP. She has now been involved in over 15 films to date, including some of India’s biggest productions like Tanhaji, Total Dhamaal, Shakuntala Devi (2020).

Nupoor Kajbaje

Line Producer

Nupoor Kajbaje has been associated with Curry Western for the past 12 years. She began her journey as a First Assistant Director and then she took over as the Line Producer. She has a A+ post graduate diploma in film and tv from Mumbai University in collaboration with Digital Academy, and has graduated in Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) specialization in Advertising from Jai Hind College, Mumbai in April 2009. Having worked in all departments of audiovisual production, Nupoor is now in a position to singularly head projects. Nupoor took care of numerous international broadcasters shooting in India, including large format TV from Endemol Europe. She managed our feature documentary Millions Can Walk (2015), a coproduction with Switzerland, as well our other international coproductions with the U.K. and Switzerland: Curry Western (2019), Bumbai Bird (2019), and now Kavita & Teresa. She is a partner of Curry Western Movies Pvt Ltd since 2018. She derives her inspirations from real stories and her work culture reflects that honesty. An undying confidence in her work, good leadership skills and a people’s person- these are the elements she brings forward in every project.

Carol Salisbury

Script Supervisor

Carole Salisbury is a highly regarded Script Supervisor with worldwide experience working on all formats and slating systems.
She is known for Submarine (2010), Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga(2020), Close  (2019), Lucky Man (2018), The Crown (Season 2), Prometheus (2012).

Ananya Chatterjee

1st Assistant Director

Ananya Chatterjee has been working in the audiovisual field for the past 8 years. She completed her Master’s degree in Audiovisual Communication from COMMITS, Bangalore. She has polished herself over the years by working in various audiovisual formats such as ad films, feature films, music videos and web series and has worked both in the production team and in the directorial team. Some of her known works are Black Widows (2020), Bansuri (2020), Chippa (2019), Byomkesh Gowtro (2018). The intricacies of a shoot and the process of amalgamating all the different elements to deliver the final product is what drives Ananya. Her first Directorial work on a musical short released recently. Ananya has produced tremendous working organisation for our shooting in India, before and after the Covid situation.

Shakyra Dowling

Casting Director

Shakyra Dowling knows the film and television industry inside out. Having trained and worked as an actor, she spent several years in production before establishing herself as a casting director in 2009. A fierce champion of new and emerging talent, SDC has carved out a niche specialising in independent British feature films and European co-productions alongside television and commercials – many of which have been internationally recognised and gone on to be nominated for multiple awards including BAFTAs and BIFAs, and at festivals from Sundance to TIFF.
She is known for Wolf (2021), Tigers (2020), Band of Brothers (2001), The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared (2013).

Mayank Dixit

Casting Director India

Mayank is raised in New Delhi, after completing his Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication with a Diploma in Theatre Acting, He ventured into film making and casting in Mumbai.
He assisted Subhash Ghai in his film ‘Yuvraaj’ and then started as a casting director with his next film ‘Kaanchi’. Amongst other projects, he did the casting for Rajan Khosa on ‘Gattu’ (special mention under the “Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk” category at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival), “Poorna – Courage has no limit”, produced by Rahul Bose. a movie acclaimed for its casting and performances.
He is known for Torbaaz (2020), Yuvvraaj (2008), Poorna (2017), Kaanchi (2014).

Namrata Anap

Costume Designer India

Narmata Anap has taken the enormous task of recreating all costumes from the epoch, not only for the cast but for all extras in both the shooting in Mumbai and Kolkata. Her team has worked wonders to make all of this happen.
She is known for Dheet Patangey (2020), Atkan Chatkan (2020), Ascharyachakit! (2018), Bonus (2020).

 

Sophia Knight

Make-Up & Hair Supervisor

Known for Crazy Rich Asians (2018), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Doctor Strange (2016), The Legend of Tarzan (2016).

She won the Hollywood Guild award for “Crazy Rich Asians” in the Feature motion picture “Contemporary Hair Styling Award” category.

Starting off in fashion, Sophia then worked in theatre before moving into TV and film.

She has traveled around the world working with various teams over her 15-year career so far. Creating make-up and hair looks ranging from contemporary to period, and fantastical looks. She enjoys every aspect the job has to offer.
